Mexican Festivities – Events And Celebrations
 
Mexican vacations cannot miss the country's main events or festivals. Celebrations fall each month and you must check the events calendar to make the most of Mexico. Not to be missed for certain is the Mexican Rodeo or charreada in Guadalajara held every October.

Spring events begin around Easter making it a festive time in Mexico. Holy Week is celebrated Nationwide as Semana Santa. From Ash Wednesday to the week after Easter Sunday there are events and attractions where ever you go. Everywhere you see processions, festivals, parties, fireworks and more!

Summer festivities begin in June with nation-wide Corpus Christ Celebrations. June 1, is Mexico's Navy Day having celebrations around sea ports with spectacular processions and marches. Dia de la Marina parties and firework displays make beach fronts, the place to go.

Winter events include huge Christmas celebrations, beginning with Posadas or party processions on December 16 throughout Mexico. Regional events include the Annual Tequila Festival, Annual Air Balloon Festival, World Billfish Tournament and the New Year's Eve parties!
